A few tips for a strong password Empty A few tips for a strong password

A password should be TOTALLY random <--- That even people who get to know you pretty well would never guess. I always ask my parents to pick a few numbers, signs and I type some random letters. At first, I leave a note behind my computer- I do not have any young brothers or sisters who would want to hack me as a revenge or something and my parents definitely won't do that. I throw the note away right after I remember it.
A password should include numbers, caps, regular letters and signs (@#$%^&*..)- At least on MapleStory. Most of the sites allow it. It makes the password more difficult.
YOU SHOULD NOT WRITE IT DOWN ON YOUR COMPUTER OR ANYWHERE WHERE IT CAN BE FOUND. NOT EVEN ON YOUR CELLPHONE.
I cannot tell you not to share it since I have shared my account info with a few people, but don't share it with someone just because he's 'a good friend' of you or someone who "wants" to try it out. Consider it before you decide to share it. Don't get backstabbed.

Feel free to share more tips. It might help our members.

And don't open emails from people you do not know or trust. or have confirmed to be from a secure site.

Don't use all or part of an IGN in the login ID or pass. Nor use similar information in your email and pass. Try not to use the email attached to your Nexon account for anything else. Make it as hard as possible for them to try and "crack" it.

You should have a different password for everything. Don't use the same password for your Email, MSN, MapleStory and etc.
